  1. Grase idli mould. Heat idli cooker. I used readymade idli batter. Cook idli for 5 to 10 minutes. When it cool down unmold it.
  2. For sambhar : cook dal in pressure cooker and add water and bottle gourd in it. Cook it completely.
  3. Prepare tadka for sambhar. Take a pan add oil, cumin seeds, ginger -garlic paste, chopped onion and tomato in it. Saute for few minutes. Add rotin masala in it. Turmeric powder,salt, chilli powder,grated coconut, lemon juice,sambhar masala.Add cooked and half crushed dal in it.
  4. Take mixer grinder add chopped coriander leaves, green chillies, coconut, lemon juice, sugar,salt in it. Grind it. Take a pan add oil, Mustard seeds, curry leaves,curd in it. Switch off the flame add chutney in it. Mix well.
  5. Yummy and delicious idli sambhar is ready to serve.serve hot.
